Wendy Walker brings more than 25 years of interdisciplinary marketing experience spanning a variety of industries.

In her role at Salesforce, Wendy leads marketing across the region; helping businesses grow and connect with their customers, partners and employees.

Khensani Nobanda is the Group Executive for Marketing and Corporate Affairs at Nedbank Group. As both the executive in charge of marketing, and a member of the Nedbank Group executive leadership, she ensures the cohesive and consistent alignment between marketing messaging, brand positioning and business objectives across the group, while also providing strategic input into various Nedbank structures, committees, and partnerships. Her portfolio also includes leading the social impact agenda for Nedbank through overseeing the bank’s CSI and Transformation programs.

Khensani joined Nedbank in September 2017, as Executive Head of Group Marketing,before being promoted to her current role, and the Nedbank Group Exco, in May 2018. Her more than 20-year marketing career has afforded her invaluable experience in several leading South African and multinational organisations. After starting out as an assistant brand manager at Unilever, she rose through the ranks to eventually head up the Skin Category for Unilever in Africa, Middle East, and Turkey. This was followed by various leadership and executive roles in Diageo, South African Breweries and Vodacom, before joining Nedbank.

She is passionate about brands and the potential they have to deliver tangible value to consumers, and more broadly to society, by being purpose led and using creativity to drive business growth.

Khensani has a BCom from the University of the Witwatersrand, an MBA from GIBS and Advanced Management Program from Harvard Business School, where she was voted as class speaker for that cohort. She is a member of the board of Effie Awards South Africa, sits on the board of Loeries, is a regular judging panel member for various awards, and a past Jury President for the Bookmarks Awards.

Khensani has amassed several accolades in recognition of her contribution to the industry, including top honours as winner of the Loeries 2021 “Marketing Leadership & Innovation” award the “Marketing Industry Leader of the Year” by AdFocus for 2021 and 2024, the 2022 and 2024 “Most admired Marketer in South Africa” award by Marklives.com and the 2023 Scopen Most admired marketer. She is part of the UN Global Compact CMO Forum on sustainability and has recently been appointed as a board member of the IAA’s Global Board of Directors.

Alex is an expert connecting marketing metrics to financial performance, a graduate from the London School of Economics, a Chartered Accountant, accredited both in England and Wales and in Singapore, and a Chartered Valuer and Appraiser, accredited in Singapore. His expertise is in the areas of brand research and valuation to support strategic decision-making. Having lived and worked in the UK, Spain and Singapore, he works with clients across the world in most sectors with much of that experience focused on B2B brands, particularly in the Logistics, Energy and Professional Services sectors with brands like DP World, BayWa, EY and Deloitte.

Ed opened the Asia Pacific office for WARC at the beginning of 2011 in Singapore, bringing the world’s most comprehensive marketing intelligence service to the region. Since then, the business has been expanding at a rapid pace with many new product and content initiatives, including the recent launch of WARC’s AI research tool.  In January 2024, he took on the additional role of SVP LIONS Division APAC to lead initiatives for all brands from the Lions Division across the region, including WARC, Contagious and Cannes Lions.

Ed has an agency background. Before WARC, he was Managing Director of Bates in Singapore, where he led integrated teams to develop campaigns for Sony, Heineken, Nokia and the Singapore Pavilion at World Expo in Shanghai. Before moving to Singapore, Ed was based in London, where he worked for 14 years at Rainey Kelly/Y&R, latterly as Global Business Director for Land Rover, leading integrated teams to develop launch campaigns around the world.

Always a keen proponent of both creative and effective communications, he has won several awards throughout his career, including Effies for Sony and the Anti-Drugs campaign in Singapore. He has also judged for the Singapore Effies, Australia APG and MMA APAC awards, for whom he was additionally appointed as the Jury Chair for 2022.

Ed is an evangelist for creative marketing that matters, who regularly brings to life smart strategy and breakthrough creativity at marketing conferences across Asia Pacific. 

In November2024, he helped launch the Singapore chapter of the IAA as Vice President.

Fredrik leads LinkedIn’s agency development team across international markets in EMEA and LATAM, namely Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Israel, Brazil and the MENA region. At LinkedIn, the team Fredrik leads empowers agencies and brands to reach, engage and convert their professional audience at scale.  

Fredrik is also the President for the International Advertising Association (IAA) UK chapter, where he directs the organisation in its aims to protect freedom of commercial speech, advance advertising in a responsible way, support consumer choice and education and professional development across the industry. He is also currently serving as Senior Vice President at IAA Global.  

Fredrik boasts over 20 years of business development and leadership experience, having held senior roles at companies such as Euronews, Eurosport, Odyssey Mobile Marketing and Phunware Inc. Notably, he had a key management role and co-founder status in establishing, growing and ultimately selling mobile advertising start-up, Odyssey Mobile Marketing Ltd to Phunware Inc. in December of 2014.

David Evans serves as the Vice President of Research within the Global Advertising and Partnerships team at NBCUniversal. He oversees a team spread across New York, London, and Singapore, focusing on non-U.S. domestic commercial research. Before joining NBCUniversal, David led his own research consultancy, specialising in advertising and media. His career also includes roles at Eurosport, Mediatel, and BDRC Continental. David’s interest in media began with a university thesis exploring the political implications of TV sports rights debates in the UK, and sports continue to be a major passion for him.
